Well morning it is and its not long till that last exam… done quite a bit of revision and understanding the last areas i need to… lets hope i can just put them to good use

Last exam is tomorrow (well in about 10-11 hours actually) and its a biggie, discrete maths which includes lots of probability stuff… done quite a bit of revision and quite confident but it could still go horribly wrong.

Still, im gonna do more revision tomorrow when i wake up, just a small 2 hour cramming session before i have to leave for exam.

But until then its chill time, its 3:20am and im gonna watch stargate i’ll sleep later should be all good, theres a lot of stuff to remember :S

Another exam down, went ok i suppose, got 2 parts of one of the questions wrong but i i may get a couple marks for it, i think i got the rest of the exam right tho but i dont wanna push my luck.

Had a weird/slash dream as well this morning which resurfaced while walking to the exam; it involved cool twin turbine/jet mini exoskeleton fighter things, was cool… it in i saw a friend in one trying to protect himself and in a bit of a state so i hop into mine to help and since i have a higher level (level 9 instead of his not sure what it means but i can remember the experience of flying in it and that was fun.

Anyway enough weirdness for now

Ok so this cardiff professor dude at our university made the news saying that the 24th of january would be the worst day of the year due to this equation he has derived based on time since xmas, broken new years resolutions, debt, etc. funnily enough it just so happened to be a monday (purely coincidental). Last week i was wondering about the feasibility of this theory…

Well apparantly he is pretty accurate because today… my laptop broke for no reason whatsoever, grrrr! i mean wtf? it just decided it needed to break and did so? luckily i am within 5 days of my warranty therefore i quickly rang them up and arranged a collect & return repair method, should be fixed in a couple weeks poor lappy

God damn exams as well, BAH!

Gah slowly revising for our Component Software Development exam which is tomorrow (tuesday) and we fired through the first past paper with ease but we were criticising the grammer of the lecturer cause he is a complete and utter numpty

Anyways the second past paper seems to be totally different and a lot of it we dont actually know because we didnt go to a lot of his lectures but we will catch up with ease cause we have all his lecture notes, but the thing is he is a shit lecture and just writes on the fucking whiteboard and doesnt interact with any of the students like the other lecturers do.

So, here I am fucking other things to do while Toby skims over the useless information that is java beans :/ stupid fucking concept for newbies if you ask me

Right, I’ve been playing this mod for half-life 2 which basically allows you to fuck around with the physics to your hearts content.

You can create stuff, attach stuff, weld stuff, rope stuff, wheel stuff, balloon stuff, thrust stuff, etc. and this covers the basics of making manually controlled airships using hl2′s wonderful physics engine (aka havoc).

Its so much fun, you can build ANYTHING, if you have half-life 2 pop on over to www.garry.tv and find the download link for garry’s mod, its so good. the forum has thousands of examples of what people have done with it, people even make comics and movies. Just makes half-life 2 so much better and increases its longetivity.

Anyway! Garry’s mod supports multiplayer (pretty poor at its current version but the guy is working on it) and its able to play the single player story in multiplayer mode which is fantastic, completing the game with a team of mates is just like sven coop for half-life 1 but now u have an arsenal of of tools to make things slightly more interesting , anyways I’ll let you decide how good it is… just get it!

Got a new login system and a new posting system all up and working (hopefully, just gotta check if this posts successfully and if it does, I’ll be a happy man )

New site is well under way, will be filling up the other areas soon, this new site has a lot more room do put stuff in than the old site and thus should actually have quite a bit of interesting content. So lets see how it goes

Alright, i havent updated for ages but bleh… cause i guess i dont blog much… one of the reasons is that i dont think this site meets my requirements to be able to make much use of it… dont get me wrong, i like the layout and i think its still cool but there isnt much info on it and isnt open ended how i planned it so i started making a new site and it looked great, then it looked poo and now it looks AWESOME, so next time i blog it should be on the new site (still kept quite a lot of similarities from this websites layout and i will be able to transfer the database straight across so i wont lose any bloggyness anyway… im gonna see how easy the transition is gonna be and if im lucky will be able to get the start of the new site up
